9th – 22nd of February | Opening Thurs 6pm 9th of February | ‘Peripheries (Speaking Gorey)’ | Crawford Project Room, (old Tax Office) Sullivan’s Quay , Cork | The artists participating are from diverging art practices, many of whom are graduates of Gorey school of Art or have links in some way to the school. While the individual artists and their works are outwardly looking in terms of their practice and explore a range of topics, the work has been selected with the concept of Peripheries in mind, as many of the works can be geographical/historically located in and around the area of Gorey, while other works are more thematically linked to the notion of the peripheral | This exhibition is a project supported by Gorey School of Art and is hosted in Cork by C.I.T. Crawford College of Art and Design in association with GAIA PROJECTS.
